In addition to the 1817 renovation of the palace acquired by Francesco Arrighi, Fantastici also oversaw, not long thereafter, the renovation of several houses owned by the Griffoli family. This project is documented by these six autograph drawings, which again reflect the intention to adapt the buildings both aesthetically and functionally. The six drawings were displayed at the exhibition “Agostino Fantastici. Sienese Architect 1782–1845,” held in Siena at the Magazzini del sale in the Palazzo Pubblico from September 25 to November 15, 1992; for details, see the catalog entries edited by Carlo Cresti, Turin: Allemandi, 1992. (6) All plates show signs of folding. There are gaps along one margin on Plate 5 and Plate 6. Some fractures, a few marginal tears, traces of stains and discoloration. Signs of wear.
