Paris: Published by the Author on the Isle du Palais at the Sphere Royale, 1703. Copper engraving with hand-colored borders. 237x326 mm. Sheet size: 260x354 mm. Engraved by C. Inselin, the map is taken from the *Atlas Curieux ou Le Monde Représenté dans des Cartes Générales et Particulières du Ciel et de la Terre*, a famous historical atlas published in Paris between 1700 and 1705 (with subsequent expanded editions published through 1714–1725). ALSO INCLUDED: Id., Plan du Palais de Trianon. In Paris: At the shop of Mr. de Fer on the Isle du Palais on the Quai de l’Orloge, 1700. Copper engraving. 228x340 mm. Sheet: 254x369 mm. (2) Both plates have good margins extending beyond the copper engraving line, very slight traces of vertical creases and a slight halo on one of them, minimal signs of wear.
