Signed with interlaced initials in the lower right margin; the title is centered. Fourth plate in the series *Six Great Views*, four of Rome and two of the Roman countryside. A beautiful proof in the second and final state following the addition of the letter, on thin laid paper apparently without a watermark. (1) Copy trimmed within the print’s border, with the framing line visible over large sections, and mounted at the top with two pins on a modern cardboard backing. Some noticeable stains only on the reverse and traces of very slight and brief marginal creases.
