The album consists of one blank sheet, eight sheets each featuring two engraved friezes, and one blank sheet. The engravings constitute the complete series of sixteen etchings, *Ornamenti di fregi et fogliami*, executed by Stefano Della Bella around 1648. 75/84 x 240/253 mm. DeVesme/Massar, 987–1002. Beautiful proofs in a uniform print run in the sixth and final state, following the removal of all publisher’s marks and some retouching. Layered paper with a portion of a “grape cluster” watermark and the inscription “DUPUY,” visible on some sheets. (1) Binding with some minor wear on the spine and corners. All sheets with original margins; a few sporadic spots of foxing.
