Gebrüder Hemmerle An 18k white gold oxydised silver interwoven garnet and natural burgundy coloured Umba sapphire necklace. Supple necklace composed of 13 oval links wrapped in small, matt wine-red garnet beads, alternating with 13 arched connecting links (including a folding clasp) in blackened silver, pavé-set with 1,091 rare, natural-colour Bordeaux-red Umba sapphires (26.53 ct). Clasp hallmarked: Fineness 750, Ag 935, maker’s mark “GH”, “Hemmerle”. Length 51 cm. Weight 249.95 g. Light grey “Hemmerle” case. Hemmerle, Munich, 2004. Provenance Formerly in a Rhenish private collection; bespoke creation by Hemmerle. Material specifications according to the original invoice from Hemmerle, which was examined.
