A pair of silver and diamond George III snake miniature brooches with later mount. Delicate serpent-shaped brooches with entwined bodies, openwork-set with Peruzzi-cut diamonds. Originally components of a larger piece of jewellery. Each with two lateral rails and a central screw hole to the reverse, the brooch fittings added at a later date. Not hallmarked. Length 2.5 cm. Total weight 9.29 g. Late 18th/Early 19th century, with later brooch mount.
