Richecoeur Born in Jersey in 1946 Elected to the British Engravers’ Council whilst still in his twenties, Michael is now recognised as one of England’s most renowned engravers. After graduating from Portsmouth College of Art in 1965, Richecoeur went on to study at the prestigious Slade School of Fine Art and the Royal College of Art. He chose the latter and obtained a Master’s degree there in 1971. Richecoeur’s impeccable technique in intaglio engraving and the gentle, oriental atmosphere of his landscapes have earned him widespread acclaim from collectors around the world.
