Hand-carved wood with detailed feathers and expressive eyes. It is perched on a small tree stump, which is likely an old inkwell. And a Chamois This is an antique carved wooden sculpture depicting a chamois, set on a rock-shaped plinth. Characteristic of the Black Forest style or Alpine folk art from the late 19th or early 20th century. The chamois has distinctive curved antlers, with a small chip on one of them.
