beer mug made of oak and silver-plated metal—with a dragon-shaped handle—dated 1906—ST LOUIS SILVER & CO—H: 16 cm 636 St. Louis Silver Company, combining the form of an oak tankard with silver-plated mounts. The piece features a dragon-shaped handle—complete with finely detailed scales and an expressive head—along with a figurative relief applied to the body. A domed, hinged lid with a thumb-lift mechanism completes the design. The underside of the lid bears the mark "St. Louis Silver Co. Quadruple Plate," reflecting the quality of American craftsmanship.
