D. R. Kongo, Boa Schild Holz, Rattan, Schnur, Leder Die Boa lebten ursprünglich an der westlichen Schleife des Kongo und breiteten sich bis zum Mbomu-Fluss aus. Im 19. Jahrhundert wurden sie durch die Azande nach Westen verdrängt und standen in engem kulturellen Austausch mit Mangbete und Mangbele, deren Einflüsse ihre materielle Kultur nachhaltig prägten.
