A discerning Geneva collector with an independent eye, P.V.S.R. has never been content simply to assemble the finest Burgundy and Bordeaux, though he holds them in abundance. His curiosity has always led him further, toward the oldest Madeiras, some of the most ancient Jura wines in existence, and the rarest California bottles of the 1960s. Now he shares two hundred ninety-two lots with us. Bordeaux sets a regal tone with the 1961 vintage, including three bottles of Ausone, six of Haut-Brion, and five of Lafite. Burgundy is the heart of the offering, with more than two hundred lots, led by Roumier with twenty-nine lots reaching back to three bottles of 1970 Bonnes-Mares, alongside Domaine Bizot, Domaine Trapet, and six magnums of 1999 Prieuré-Roch Chambertin Clos de Bèze. Champagne pours three bottles of 1961 Dom Pérignon, and the finale belongs to Madeira, with four lots of 1862 D. Bolger Malvasia and Terrantez. All bottles stored in pristine conditions at Au Bonheur du Vin, Acker’s preferred and recommended professional storage in Geneva. Refer to original catalog header sections for additional information on provenance when available.
