FIRST EDITION of this VERY RARE ANTI-PAPIST PAMPHLET by Nicolas VIGNIER the Younger (1575–1645), pastor of the Reformed Protestant Church of France in Blois. It was composed at the request of the National Synod of La Rochelle and caused a scandal upon its publication. The king ordered its suppression.
