112 - [PYRENEES]. PETIT (Victor). BAGNÈRES-DE-LUCHON AND ITS SURROUNDINGS. Dulon, Bagnères-de-Luchon, [c. 1855]. Italian-style quarto in the publisher’s ivy-green grained cloth, with rocaille metalwork and gilt title on the top cover, and cold-stamped borders and corner fleurons. Scuffs and discoloration on the covers, more pronounced on the second cover; scattered light foxing; some marginal water stains. ALBUM containing a large title VIGNETTE and 25 PLATES (including 3 doubles and 1 triple) with serpentine borders, drawn and lithographed by Victor PETIT. They were printed by Thierry in Paris and published in 1854 and 1855. Some albums could contain up to 30 plates, depending on the composition chosen by booksellers of the time. ¶ Labarère, 1169 - Dendaletche, 1452 and 3352.
