Both the cover and the prints make use of the book’s front and back covers as well as its inner pages. Kaldewey achieved a special effect in the images by briefly placing transparent sheets of paper over the still-wet watercolors; he calls them ‘CrystalPrints.’ This is the last book bearing the imprint “Edition Kaldewey.” The subsequent books are all published under the name “Kaldewey Press.” (from: Von Lucius, p. 319).
