This is true of any segment of the public that has not yet grasped that the ‘originality’ of a print does not depend on the printing process itself, but on the manner in which it is applied; that the attribute ‘original’ does not refer to a technical process, but to the artist’s intellectual achievement” (quoted from Lutze, p. 8). - Supplement: Horst Antes. Offset prints with a text from the *Allgemeines Deutsches Reimlexikon* by Peregrinus Syntax—Leipzig 1826—and an afterword by Kurt Martin. Karlsruhe/Nuremberg 1966.
