Auction start time: approx. 1:32 p.m. (Schedule subject to change) The first and only issue of the short-lived Dada magazine. — “This publication was originally intended to be called ‘L’œil à poils.’ Its contributors were members of the Dada group around Tzara, who had brought about the failure of the ‘Congrès de Paris’ planned by Breton. ‘Le Cœur à Barbe’ was a response to Picabia’s magazine ‘La Pomme de Pins,’ in which he had taken Breton’s side.” (Dada global). - With contributions by Tzara, Eluard, Fraenkel, Huidobro, Josephson, Peret, Ribemont-Dessaignes, Satie, Serner, Soupault, and Duchamp (as Rrose Selavy). - Printed on pink paper. - Very rare and in impeccable condition.
