Furtwängler enhances his contribution to the book by interweaving text and graphics, scattering the graphics—cut into fragments—throughout the text like sudden exclamation points. The title character of the book is perhaps Furtwängler’s most powerful individual figure of all” (Stefan Soltek in the above-mentioned catalog). Spindler 140.30 44.0 × 32.0 cm.
