Starting time: approx. 1:03 p.m. (schedule subject to change) Comprehensive and richly illustrated catalog of the famous Leipzig lighting factory, founded in 1889 by Köring and Mathiesen (“K and eM”). In 1928, a consulting agreement was negotiated between the Bauhaus artists László Moholy-Nagy and Marianne Brandt and representatives of K&M. By 1933, original lighting designs had been created, along with numerous formal refinements of existing forms. — This catalog still includes, for example, models by Marianne Brandt (656 and 702). — The typographic design is also still entirely influenced by the Bauhaus.
