Marking(s); notes: Stamped "Fabergé" in Russian Cyrillic, accompanied by the Cyrillic initials "ML," attributed to Mikhail Lystsov, a 56 zolotnik gold standard mark (equivalent to approximately 14 karat), and a Russian regional assay mark. Marks suggest a possible date of circa 1899–1908. Materials: Gold, marked 56 zolotnik (approximately 14K), with carved pink gemstone elephant. Gemstone identification unverified. Cataloger Note: Ornate Russian-style gold birdcage charm or miniature ornament featuring an intricately constructed domed wirework cage raised on spherical feet and surmounted by a suspension loop.
