Pianpolvere Soprano, Barolo Riserva 7 Anni, 2000. Barolo D.O.C.G., Italy. Red wine. 1 bottle, 75 cl. Condition: The bottle’s liquid level is 2 cm below the neck. Original black capsule, intact and properly secured, with slight wrinkles. The top of the bottle retains the winery’s embossed logo, with the inscription “Riserva con 7 Anni.” The official Italian D.O.C.G. Barolo seal is present, complete, legible, and properly affixed around the neck, with a visible identification number. The original front label is intact, well-affixed, and clearly legible. The name “Pianpolvere Soprano,” the origin “Bussia,” the appellation “Barolo,” the category “Riserva,” and the vintage “2000” are all perfectly identifiable. Also notable is a handwritten inscription in blue ink, located in the center of the label. It comes from a private collection, stored under optimal temperature and humidity conditions. Pianpolvere Soprano is a historic winery located in Bussia, one of the most renowned vineyards in Monforte d’Alba, within the Barolo appellation. Its wines are made from Nebbiolo, the iconic grape variety of the Langhe, prized for its ability to develop structure, aromatic complexity, and longevity. The designation “Riserva 7 Anni” indicates an extended aging period prior to release, in keeping with the tradition of great, age-worthy Barolos. The 2000 vintage comes from a warm year with excellent ripeness in Piedmont. The combination of the Bussia origin, the Riserva designation, and its unique presentation makes this bottle a notable choice for collectors of classic Italian wines.
