Aquilón 2006 is one of Bodegas Alto Moncayo’s flagship wines, a project developed in the Campo de Borja DO focused on the potential of old Aragonese Garnacha vines. Made exclusively from Garnacha sourced from old-growth vineyards with low yields, it offers a wine of great concentration and phenolic maturity, with extended aging in oak. Its profile is characterized by the depth of black fruit, spicy and balsamic notes, an enveloping tannic structure, and remarkable length. The 2006 vintage belongs to the project’s first phase, marked by the pursuit of maximum expression and density in Moncayo Garnacha.
