Solaia, 1995. Tuscany, Italy. Red wine. 2 bottles of 0.75 cl. Vinous 96/100; The Wine Advocate 95/100. Condition: Levels: BN (Base Neck). Front labels complete and legible, with slight stains and scuffs. Back labels are legible with minor paper loss along the bottom edge. Orange-colored capsules are intact with slight scuffing. From a private collection, stored under optimal temperature and humidity conditions. Solaia is one of Marchesi Antinori’s flagship wines, sourced from the vineyard of the same name located on the Tignanello hill. Linked to the revival of great Tuscan reds, it blends Bordeaux-origin varieties with Sangiovese. On these 1995 bottles, the back label lists a blend of 80% Cabernet and 20% Sangiovese, aged for approximately fourteen months in small oak barrels and at least twelve months in the bottle.
