Condition: All six bottles are filled to the neck (IN, Into Neck). Original dark gray capsules, intact, in good overall condition. Original main labels, complete, well-adhered, and legible, with minor marks but no significant loss of paper. Blue lower labels from the Priorat D.O.Q. are preserved. Original guarantee seals are present on all six bottles; some show minor surface wear. Original wooden case from Vall Llach, labeled with the 2003 vintage. It comes from a private collection cellar, maintained under optimal temperature and humidity conditions. Vall Llach is one of the leading figures in the revival of Priorat’s international prestige. Founded in Porrera by Lluís Llach and Enric Costa, the project is distinguished by its commitment to preserving traditional vineyards and producing wines with a distinct terroir identity. Its flagship wine is crafted from a selection of grapes grown in vineyards situated on slopes of llicorella—the characteristic slate of the Priorat—whose poor soils and limited water availability favor limited production and remarkable concentration. Cariñena and Garnacha contribute depth, Mediterranean character, and mineral expression, complemented by other varieties in the blend. The 2003 vintage, marked by an exceptionally hot summer, produced wines of great ripeness and personality. As it ages in the bottle, Vall Llach 2003 can develop aromas of black plum, candied blackberry, licorice, cocoa, sweet spices, aromatic herbs, and balsamic and mineral nuances. The label indicates a production of 8,668 bottles, bottled in Porrera in June 2005, a testament to its limited production. The presentation of six bottles in their original wooden case enhances the appeal of this set for collectors and enthusiasts of great Priorat wines.
