Proensa Guide: 100/100. Robert Parker (The Wine Advocate): 98/100. Condition: Fill levels in the neck area: IN (Neck) and BN (Base Neck). Original black capsules with red top seal, intact, with superficial wear. Original front labels are complete and legible, with signs of aging of varying intensity on all six bottles. Bottom labels are preserved. Original wooden case bearing the winery’s name and the vintage. From a private collection, stored under optimal temperature and humidity conditions. Clos Mogador is one of the Priorat’s iconic wines, produced by René Barbier in Gratallops. Its production is based on a selection of grapes from vineyards cultivated on the region’s characteristic licorella soils. Mediterranean grape varieties, primarily Garnacha and Cariñena, are used in its production, along with other red varieties. The 2005 vintage marks a period of consolidation for Clos Mogador’s prestige and embodies the concentrated, structured style with a distinct mineral character that defines the great wines of this appellation.
