L'Ermita, 2000. D.O. Priorat, Tarragona, Catalonia, Spain. Red wine. 1 bottle, 75 cl. Jeb Dunnuck: 97/100. Condition: IN level (Into neck). Original black capsule, intact, with a red wax seal on top and the winery’s emblem in good condition, showing slight signs of age. Main label intact and fully legible, with small moisture spots and slight surface mottling. Lower producer label intact, with slight signs of age. Official DOQ Priorat back label preserved and legible, with serial number E 131658. It comes from a private collection, stored under optimal temperature and humidity conditions. L’Ermita, produced by Álvaro Palacios in Gratallops, is one of the great benchmarks of the Priorat and of contemporary Spanish winemaking. Sourced from an exceptional vineyard with steep slopes and licorella soils, it stands out for its concentration, elegance, and unique mineral expression. The 2000 vintage offers a mature and complex interpretation of the vineyard’s Mediterranean character, with notes of black fruits, spices, aromatic herbs, and mineral nuances, accompanied by refined tannins and a long, persistent finish. Its limited production and renowned international prestige make this wine a particularly prized bottle.
