Original brown capsules intact, with slight scuffs and superficial wear. Original labels with moisture stains, general deterioration, and paper loss. Some bottles retain partially legible front labels, while others show almost total loss or absence of the label. Back labels show stains, peeling, and severe deterioration; some are practically gone. D.O.Ca. Rioja guarantee seals are present on several bottles, in varying states of preservation. Wooden case in poor condition, opened for inspection. They come from a private collection cellar, maintained under optimal temperature and humidity conditions. Sierra Cantabria Colección Privada is one of the Eguren family’s flagship wines, historically linked to viticulture in San Vicente de la Sonsierra. Made from Tempranillo grapes sourced from selected vineyards, it represents an interpretation of Rioja that combines traditional practices with a careful selection of grapes and aging in oak barrels. Its production is characterized by a combination of whole-cluster and destemmed vinification, aiming to preserve the fruit expression while adding structure and complexity. The 2001 vintage, considered one of Rioja’s great historic vintages, yielded concentrated, balanced wines with remarkable aging potential. Colección Privada stands out for its profile of ripe black fruit, spices, toasty notes, and balsamic nuances.
