Condition: Estimated fill levels between 1 and 3 cm below the cork. Bottles with intact original capsules, some with slight scuffs, wrinkles, and signs of aging. Original labels and back labels are complete and legible, with small stains, superficial marks, and signs of moisture on some bottles. In good overall condition. D.O.Ca. Rioja seals present. Original wooden case bearing the name of the wine and the winery. They come from a private collection, stored under optimal temperature and humidity conditions. Calvario is one of the most iconic wines from Finca Allende, a winery founded by Miguel Ángel de Gregorio in Briones, in the Rioja Alta region. It comes from a historic vineyard planted in 1945, from which it takes its name, and is made from a blend of Tempranillo, Garnacha, and Graciano grapes. The 2004 vintage stands out for its concentration, depth, and balance, with aromatic notes of black fruits, spices, balsamic hints, and toasty nuances derived from its aging in French oak. Its limited production, the uniqueness of its vineyard of origin, and acclaim from wine critics place it among the great collectible red wines of La Rioja.
