Miller (The Wine Advocate): 97/100 points. Condition: All six bottles are at the “IN” (Into Neck) fill level. Original red capsules are intact, with slight scuffs and signs of aging; one capsule has more pronounced marks on its upper part. Original yellow front labels, intact and legible, with slight stains, scuffs, and signs of aging. Original back labels and D.O.Ca. Rioja guarantee seals present on all six bottles. Wooden case with the winery’s markings, signs of wear, and splinters on one end of the lid. It comes from a private collection, stored under optimal temperature and humidity conditions. Remírez de Ganuza Reserva 2004 is a red wine from the Rioja Alavesa region produced by Bodegas Fernando Remírez de Ganuza, located in Samaniego. It is characterized by a rigorous selection of grapes from mature vineyards and aging in oak barrels, in keeping with the winery’s production style. The 2004 vintage is one of the standout harvests from Rioja in the early 21st century. Its presentation in a set of six bottles with a wooden box is of particular interest to collectors of age-worthy wines from this appellation.
