Condition: Fill levels between IN (Into Neck) and BS (base of the neck). Red capsules with the Artadi logo, intact, with slight surface marks; one shows visible loss of coating around the neck. Original labels are complete and legible, with moisture or dirt stains of varying intensity. Back labels are complete and legible, some with small stains. DOCa Rioja guarantee seals are present. Wooden case labeled “Artadi Pagos Viejos 2005.” From a private collection, stored under optimal temperature and humidity conditions. Artadi Pagos Viejos 2005 represents Juan Carlos López de Lacalle’s interpretation of the old Tempranillo vineyards of Laguardia, in the Rioja Alavesa. Crafted from a selection of low-yield plots, it combines the concentration of ripe fruit, depth, and tannic structure with the tension and chalky character typical of its origin. The 2005 vintage stands out for its balance between ripeness, density, and aging potential, during the period when Pagos Viejos established itself as one of Artadi’s greatest expressions.
