It comes with its wooden box bearing the inscription “Viña El Pisón.” It comes from a private collection, where it was stored under optimal temperature and humidity conditions. Viña El Pisón, produced by Artadi under the direction of Juan Carlos López de Lacalle, is one of the great benchmarks of the Rioja Alavesa and of contemporary Spanish viticulture. Sourced from a unique Tempranillo vineyard planted in 1945 in Laguardia on clay-limestone soils, it stands out for its extraordinary precision, depth, and elegance. The 2005 vintage, particularly renowned for its quality, offers a highly complex profile, with notes of ripe red and black fruits, flowers, spices, licorice, and delicate mineral nuances, supported by refined tannins and remarkable freshness. Its balance between concentration and finesse, combined with the vineyard’s uniqueness and its presentation in a Magnum bottle with a wooden box, makes this wine a particularly prized item among collectors.
