Condition: Liquid levels between 1 and 3 cm below the cork. Original garnet-red capsules, intact, with the inscription “El Pisón” embossed on the top and slight signs of storage. Original main labels, complete and legible. Original back labels and D.O.Ca. Rioja seals preserved. Original wooden case labeled with the wine’s name and origin. It comes from a private collection, stored under optimal temperature and humidity conditions. Viña El Pisón is one of the most renowned single-vineyard wines from Rioja Alavesa. Produced by Artadi from Tempranillo grapes grown in a vineyard planted in 1945 in Laguardia, on clay-limestone soils, it stands out for its precision and expression of the terroir. The 2002 vintage, marked by difficult weather conditions in Rioja, offers a more restrained interpretation of this wine, with a profile that may evolve toward notes of ripe red fruit, spices, tobacco, undergrowth, and mineral nuances. Its origin from a historic plot and its presentation in an original six-bottle case add to the appeal of this collector’s set.
