Pintia, 2005. D.O. Toro, Castile and León, Spain. Red wine. 6 bottles of 75 cl. Robert Parker / The Wine Advocate: 95/100. Condition: IN (Into Neck). All six bottles retain their original capsules. The front labels show signs of moisture stains, discoloration, and dirt of varying intensity, particularly noticeable on one of the bottles, whose label displays a distinct vertical stain. The vintage and label information remain legible on all bottles. Pintia 2005 represents one of the first great vintages of this prestigious Toro wine, produced by the Vega Sicilia group. Its character, recognized aging potential, and association with one of the most iconic names in Spanish wine make it a particularly attractive choice for collectors. The 2005 vintage stands out for its significance during the early years of the Pintia project’s consolidation and for its standing among the appellation’s great red wines.
