The main labels show moisture stains, discoloration, and scuffs of varying severity, though they remain attached and legible. The appellation of origin seals are intact on all six bottles, with slight stains and signs of aging. These bottles come from a private collection, stored under optimal temperature and humidity conditions. Vega Sicilia is one of the great historical landmarks of Spanish viticulture and one of the most prestigious names on the international wine scene. Founded in 1864, this iconic winery has played a fundamental role in promoting the great wines of the Ribera del Duero. Valbuena 5º is one of its most renowned wines, characterized by five years of aging in oak and in the bottle before release.
