The Wine Advocate: 96/100 (Luis Gutiérrez, 2023) and 95/100 (Robert Parker, 2004); Decanter: 98/100; James Suckling: 98/100; Vinous: 95/100. Condition: IN (Into Neck). Both bottles have intact maroon capsules, with the brand name and vintage embossed on the top. Main labels show extensive moisture stains, surface oxidation of the paper, and signs of aging. The bottle on the left has a label with partially lifted edges and minor losses, while the one on the right shows paper loss, dark stains, and more pronounced wear. Vega Sicilia Único 1991 is one of the most iconic and prestigious wines in Spanish viticulture. Produced only in select vintages and renowned for its extended aging and extraordinary aging potential, Único represents a unique expression of the Ribera del Duero.
