Level: A Capsule: original, in good condition. Labels in good condition. See images to check the condition of the label, capsule and level. Provenance: Private collection. Kept in private cellar, in horizontal position, temperature and humidity controlled. Château Cos d'Estournel is located in the Saint-Estèphe appellation, in the Médoc region, within the Bordeaux wine region. Its wine was classified as one of the Deuxièmes Crus in the Official Bordeaux Wine Classification of 1855. It produces two wines: its eponymous Grand Vin and a second wine, Les Pagodes de Cos, and both tend to incorporate more Merlot than other Left Bank wines. The vineyard covers 70 hectares, growing Cabernet Sauvignon (60%) and Merlot (40%), with a minority production of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, which find their way into the modern wines in small quantities. **The images of each lot are the actual images of the object and, therefore, are part of the cataloging.
