Château Lynch-Bages is one of Pauillac’s most renowned historic estates, classified as a Cinquième Grand Cru Classé in 1855 and closely linked to the Cazes family. Its vineyards, situated on the Médoc’s characteristic gravel soils, produce wines dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon, complemented by Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot. The 1982 vintage is considered one of Bordeaux’s great historic vintages, celebrated for the ripeness of its grapes, the concentration, and the longevity of its wines. Château Lynch-Bages 1982 is one of the estate’s most outstanding wines, prized for its structure, depth, and complexity, with a classic profile of blackcurrant, cedar, leather, tobacco, and tertiary notes. A bottle of particular interest to collectors of great Pauillac vintages.
