Château Lynch-Bages is one of the most renowned estates in Pauillac, located in the historic village of Bages and linked for generations to the Cazes family. Classified as a Cinquième Grand Cru Classé in 1855, it is renowned for producing wines of great structure, depth, and aging potential. The 2005 vintage, considered one of Bordeaux’s finest in recent decades, benefited from a warm, dry summer and excellent harvest conditions. Its blend combines Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot. The result is a concentrated and elegant wine with firm tannins and notes of blackcurrant, graphite, cedar, and tobacco, particularly prized for its aging potential and appeal to collectors.
