Château Pichon-Longueville Baron, 2004. A.O.C. Pauillac, Bordeaux, France. Second Growth of 1855. Red wine. 6 bottles of 75 cl. Condition: Fill levels IN (Into Neck). Original capsules intact, in very good condition. Original labels intact, complete, and legible, in good overall condition, with minimal marks on some edges. They come from a private collection cellar, maintained under optimal temperature and humidity conditions. Château Pichon-Longueville Baron is one of the great historic estates of Pauillac, classified as a Deuxième Grand Cru Classé in the 1855 Bordeaux classification. Its vineyards, located on the prestigious left bank of the Gironde, are situated on deep gravel soils, particularly well-suited for growing Cabernet Sauvignon—the predominant variety in its wines—complemented by Merlot and other traditional Bordeaux varieties. The 2004 vintage offers a classic and balanced expression of Pauillac, with aromas of blackcurrant, plum, cedar, graphite, and tobacco, accompanied by spicy notes. Its tannic structure, freshness, and elegance reflect the character of the great age-worthy wines of the Médoc. The estate’s historic prestige, its classification, and its renowned aging potential make this set of six bottles an attractive opportunity for collectors of fine Bordeaux wines.
