Château Palmer, 2004. A.O.C. Margaux, Médoc, Bordeaux, France. Third Growth in the official 1855 Bordeaux classification. Red wine. 1 bottle, 75 cl. Condition: BN level (Base Neck). Original capsule intact, in good condition. Label complete and legible, with minor scuffs and isolated paper loss along the edges. Good overall condition. From a private collection, stored under optimal temperature and humidity conditions. Château Palmer is one of the most prestigious estates in Margaux and ranks among the Troisièmes Grands Crus Classés in the historic 1855 classification. Located on the left bank of the Gironde estuary, its vineyards are situated on gravelly soils that promote drainage and grape ripening. Palmer’s uniqueness lies, among other things, in the high proportion of Merlot in its blends, along with Cabernet Sauvignon and small amounts of Petit Verdot—a combination that contributes to its renowned texture and complexity. The 2004 vintage is a classic Bordeaux vintage, characterized by balanced ripening. Its origin, historic classification, and aging potential make this wine of particular interest to collectors of great Bordeaux wines.
