Château Cheval Blanc, 1954. A.O.C. Saint-Émilion, Bordeaux, France. Premier Grand Cru Classé. Red wine. 1 bottle, 75 cl. Condition: Liquid level at the top shoulder (TS). Original maroon capsule, with the name and emblem of Château Cheval Blanc embossed on the top. It shows slight dents and deformations. Original main label, fully intact and adhering to the bottle, though showing significant surface deterioration due to the passage of time. Despite this, the estate’s name, the 1954 vintage, and the classification remain identifiable. Condition typical of a very old bottle. It comes from a private collection, stored under optimal temperature and humidity conditions. Château Cheval Blanc is one of the historic estates of Saint-Émilion, renowned for the unique composition of its soils—gravel, clay, and sand—and for the prominent role of Cabernet Franc in its blends with Merlot. Its wines are distinguished by their aromatic complexity, refined texture, and extraordinary aging potential. The 1954 vintage belongs to a historic period for the estate and is now a reference of interest primarily to collectors. Due to its age, its organoleptic profile and stage of development are uncertain and depend largely on the individual condition of the bottle.
