Château Latour, 1993. Magnum (1.5 L). A.O.C. Pauillac, Bordeaux, France. Premier Grand Cru Classé in the 1855 Official Bordeaux Classification. Red wine. 1 Magnum bottle of 1,500 ml. Condition: Liquid level 2.5 cm below the cork. Original maroon capsule, intact, with the Château Latour emblem embossed on the top and the characteristic tower crowned by a lion on the side. Original main label, intact and legible, in good condition. It comes from a private collection cellar, stored under optimal temperature and humidity conditions. Château Latour is one of Bordeaux’s great historic names and one of the five estates designated as Premier Grand Cru Classé in the 1855 classification. Its vineyards are located in Pauillac, on the left bank of the Gironde, on deep gravel soils that favor the cultivation of Cabernet Sauvignon and give its wines a personality marked by structure, concentration, and longevity. The 1993 vintage, produced during a year of complex weather conditions, represents a classic and elegant expression of the estate. As it ages in the bottle, the wine may reveal notes of blackcurrant, cedar, tobacco, leather, underbrush, and delicate mineral nuances, supported by a progressively integrated tannic structure.
