Round BIDJAR Rug Iran. Late 20th century Wool pile on a cotton backing. A brick-red field features rows of facing anthracite-colored botehs adorned with foliage (a symbol of life), interspersed with polychrome floral scrolls forming compositions. The charcoal-gray border features undulating plant motifs adorned with multicolored, fully bloomed corollas and is flanked by four ivory and sky-blue counter-borders with floral garlands.
