MELLO FRANCO AND MAFFEI GIORGIO "Body and Soul. Art vs. Body. Materials for Art 3" 2013 25x22 Magazine edited by Giorgio Maffei and Franco Mello; contributions by Flaviano Celaschi and Claudia Fagini; art book design by Franco Mello. The magazine consists of a selective collection of visual materials devoted to the relationship between figurative art and other media. It is devoted to print documents-photographs, artist's books, catalogs, documents and ephemera-that not only recall the climate and environment of well-known art events, but stand in their own right and without subservience as autonomous artifacts. It manifests a certain reluctance towards words; in fact, it is not written by art critics, but privileges the image of things, leaving the persuasive capacity of communicating ideas to the things themselves. Color illustrated dust jacket, which fully turned becomes a 74x67 cm poster. (reproduction of Marcel Duchamp's 1924 work "A la Cranach"). The dust jacket is folded to form a pocket, in the pocket is editorially attached a multiple, a specially made 21.5x8.2 cm. lenticular by Luigi Ontani: EvAdamo." Ninety-six copies have been signed and numbered by the artist.
