Christian Dior had shown there in 1954, followed by Yves Saint Laurent in 1958; the 2016 presentation returned to this setting under the creative direction of Lucie Meier and Serge Ruffieux. The collection combined familiar Dior shapes with British references, exploring a dialogue between French elegance and English eccentricity.
