We can tell and hear those stories simply by looking at each other's face. We communicate the secret of our heart and soul with the slightest hint. Our fleeting experiences have at least these in common: A's, B's, and C's - these are the letters you see in the background in the Persian alphabets. “ - from Sadegh Tirafkan, Iranian Man Sadegh Tirafkan was an Iranian-Canadian contemporary artist who specialised in photography, video installation and stage art. Whilst he was educated at the University of Tehran in 1990, he was largely self-taught as he rejected the photographic mainstreams at time of his studies, resulting in radical work compared to that of his predecessors. He had a multitude of successful personal exhibitions including at the Sehoun Art Gallery in Tehran, the Massoud Nader Gallery in New York and, his final exhibition, at the Selma Feriani + Louise Alexander Gallery in London.
