She studied Fine Arts at the State Art College in Dushanbe, followed by a degree in Stage and Film Design at the Tashkent State Theatre and Art Institute, and later completed advanced studies at the All-Russian State Institute of Cinematography (VGIK) in Moscow. Between 1982 and 1994, she taught Film and Stage Design at the Tashkent State Theatre and Art Institute, while simultaneously developing a distinguished career in cinema and the visual arts. At the heart of Zebo Nasyrova's artistic practice lies a profound celebration of humanity, expressed through a vibrant, lyrical, and poetic visual language. Her paintings bring together the rich traditions of Central Asian art, classical European painting, and miniature aesthetics, creating a distinctive style that bridges cultural heritage with contemporary expression. Drawing upon the ornamental beauty of Suzani textiles, folklore, symbolism, and metaphor, she constructs compositions filed with vivid colour, harmony, and emotional depth. Her works reflect a lifelong dialogue between fine art, theatre, and cinema, transforming memory, tradition, and everyday life into timeless visual narratives. Through this synthesis of cultures and artistic disciplines, Nasyrova invites viewers into a world where beauty, history, and human emotion coexist in a language that is both deeply personal and universally resonant.
