A prayer book, Ottoman empire, circa 1825, Arabic manuscript on paper, 63ff., 1fl., 13ll of black naskh script tot he page within thin gold borders ruled in blue and red, quartered gold roundel picked in red and blue, catchwords to each right page's lower left corners, the illuminated opening bifolio with a trefoil amidst polychrome scrolling floral tendril against blue field under a cusped pointed arch, stylised red and blue floral sprays above, the whole within hatched red borders, wide gold and silver floral margins, probably incomplete, binding lacking, Folio 16.5 x 11cm.
