Risale-i Husn-u Ask, Galib Es'ad Effendi es-Seyh Mevlevihane-i Galata (d. 1798AD), Ottoman empire, dated AH1197/1782AD, On paper, 55ff., 1fl., 19ll. of black nasta'liq script tot the page in two columns within thin gold borders ruled in black and red, headers in red within plain rectangular panels, catchwords to each right text panels' lower left corners, some silver speckled folios, some coloured paper folio, the illuminated opening folio with an entrelacs of green, blue and pink leaved tendrils around a central plain gold escutcheon beneath hanging blue foliage forming a lobed arch, the whole within gold strapwork, 14ll. of script in two columns below, the opposite page silver speckled, spine lacking, gilt brown morroco and red velvet boards detached, 20x 12.5cm., folio 19.8 x 12.2cm.
