Set of four scale model cars: Ferrari F50, Jaguar E-Type Roadster, Porsche 356 Coupé, and Ferrari 250 GTO. Metal, plastic, and rubber. Measurements: 6 x 25 x 12 cm. Provenance: Estate of Ramon Martí Alsina and Ricard Martí Aguiló. Artistic and heritage collection originating in the legacy of Catalan painters Ramon Martí Alsina (1826–1894), a seminal figure of 19th-century Catalan Realism, and his son Ricard Martí Aguiló (1857–1935). Passed down and enriched across successive generations, the collection brings together works from the original holdings of both artists alongside acquisitions made by their descendants. Dedicated to preserving and recovering the family legacy, the descendants actively reacquired works by the painters as they entered the market, progressively expanding the collection to encompass paintings, sculptures, archaeological artifacts, and other items of artistic and historical significance. Set of four scale model cars that recreates some of the most iconic models in the history of European motoring, ranging from the great sports cars of the 1950s and 1960s to one of the most representative supercars of the 1990s. The selection includes a Porsche 356 Coupé, a model that was instrumental in establishing Porsche as a sports car manufacturer; an elegant Jaguar E-Type Roadster, introduced in 1961 and which became one of the great icons of British automotive design; and two outstanding Ferraris: the legendary 250 GTO, designed in the early 1960s for racing and considered one of the most celebrated cars from the Maranello-based manufacturer, and the F50, unveiled in 1995 to mark Ferrari’s 50th anniversary. The models carefully reproduce characteristic elements of the original vehicles, from the aerodynamic shapes of their bodies to the wheels, headlights, air intakes, interiors, and emblems, creating an attractive collection both for its decorative appeal and for its value to collectors of scale model cars and automotive memorabilia.
