The first, made of thick khaki cloth, features a heavily worn red trim, a navy blue plume, a khaki fabric lining, and a brown leather sweatband that is severely damaged by moths and has gaps. The second, made of khaki wool, has black piping, a red tassel, and a metal “1” beneath a crown, attached to the left side. It has a beige fabric lining and a brown leather sweatband.
